The Design Process
Our goal at Pro Earth Landscape is to Ensure that each project is run smoothly and will be an enjoyable experience for all involved. Below is a generic time line we follow for our clients to better understand how their project will progress from start to finish.
1. Perliminary Concept Meeting
We begin with the initial phone call to schedule a meeting at the property to be landscaped. During this meeting the client will have have the opportunity to discuss ideas for their landscaping with Vern.
2. Proposal Discussion
Pro Earth will produce an informal proposal based on the scope of work discussed at the meeting. The client also has the option of having a design drawing prepared for a fee. Upon completion of conceptual drawing, Vern will present the plans with a formal estimate.
3. Design Review
Design review meeting - To review the prepared estimate and/or design plan.
4. Submission of Complete Package
If Pro Earth Landscape is awarded the contract, we, on behalf of our clients will submit the completed package and necessary paperwork to the Home Owners Association for approval.
5. Package Review and Project Discussion
Opening Packet - This is an opportunity for the clients to meet with the Office Manager and review their project. We will discuss our billing process, discuss what materials the client will need to pick out and answer any questions that you may have regarding your landscaping project.
6. Trenching and Underground Items/City Inspection
Trenching for drainage and any underground items needed i.e. gas and electrical. City inspection will occur at this time.
7. Concrete Work
Concrete layout, forming and installation.
8. Masonry
Masonry installation of walls, fire pits, barbecues, water features, etc.
9. Soil Preparation
Soil preparation including grading, rototilling, top soil and amendments.
10. Irrigation
Installation of irrigation.
11. Planting and Lighting
Planting trees and all container plants (no ground cover). Installation of lighting wire.
12. Clock Installations
Installation of lighting and irrigation clock.
13. Installation
Installation of sod and groundcover.
14. Final Walk Through and Inspections
Final walk thru and final city inspections.
